Storing your Biltong
If you manage not to eat your Britannia Biltong within minutes of receiving it here are some tips on storing it.
- Dry Environment: Store biltong in a cool, dry place to prevent mould growth.
- Air circulation: Allow air to circulate around the biltong to maintain its texture.
- Refrigeration: Not necessary for short-term storage, but can extend shelf life.
- Freezing: Possible for long-term storage, but may affect texture.
- Room temperature storage: Properly dried biltong can last 1-2 weeks.
